I wonder why Indian banking sector has got constellation of female heads while manufacturing, IT, FMCG and others are more or less entirely male bastions.

(Hopefully you have been Bammed now)


Is it because women are relatively disciplined risk takers, which is a must for stability of banking firms? This is quiet evident from recent financial meltdown, which testifies the havoc greed based decisions can wreck.

Or, it may be because women are better designed to handle money which can be seen from the fact that in most of the Indian homes lady of the house manages budget.

Has anyone got any other explanation?
